Patchwork Passion opened in August 2003 in this little old house in the heart of Onehunga.

 

We started with specialty lines in Japanese, Kaffe Fassett and Moda fabrics and a comprehensive class and group programme. These continue until the present day.

 

Fabrics - we specialise in Japanese, 1800s Reproduction, Modern and Solid fabrics, but we do have plenty of others to suit your quilting and sewing projects.

Books - we have an ever changing collection of books.Firstly we buy to match our fabric areas, but we also stock a good selection of general quilting books. We are happy to source books to meet your needs.

Magazines - you can subscribe to the following magazines through us or pick them at the shop when you are in:

New Zealand Quilter, Quilt Mania, Quilts Japan, Primitive Quilts and Projects, Better Homes and Gardens Patchwork and Quilting and Quilt Sampler.

Notions - we stock Fast Patch rulers, Olfa cutting mats and rotary cutters, a range of Clover products, Sewline pens, KIng Tut Quilting threads, Cosmo hand embroidery threads,  Clover Silk Applique thread, Quilting Hoops - 14", 16" and 18", Jeanna Kimble Hand Applique needles, Japanese sashiko threads, Freezer Paper, Steam-a-Seam fusible webbing, Photo Transfer Fabric, plus  a range of basic quilting and sewing tools.

Batting - our favourite is 80/20 cotton/polyester batting in either the regular or the fusible. We also stock a nice polyester batting and various iron-on Pellons.
